  1. Donations

 

  • I am unable to attend the event, can I still make a donation and how can I make a donation?

   Yes, thank you for your donation. There are various donation options available.

   To make a monetary donation please use the ‘donate now’ button on the website.

   If you prefer to make an E-transfer, it can be sent to AC_EMCF@algonquincollege.com

 

  • Are my charitable donations tax deduction?

   Unfortunately, yes due to the Canada Revenue guidelines for charitable tax receipts, it disclaims third party         events (i.e., Bier N Brez’n) from allocating tax receipts. Therefore, Tax Receipts can ONLY be provided for $20     and above donations issued by Candlelight Childhood Cancer Foundation.

 

  • I am interested in the charity organization, where can I find more information?

   Thank you for your interest. You can find more information about the organization and the work they do on         their website https://candlelighters.net/.

   2. Silent Auctions

​

  • I am a company interested in donating to your silent auction items, how do I donate?

   To make a donation to our silent auction, please email Cheryl Burnett breznbiern@gmail.com
 

  • In what form will the silent auction items come in?

   All items for the silent auction will come in form of e-gift certificates.

  • Can I bid on items before the event?

    Yes, you can. The silent auction site will go live Two weeks before the event on Sunday, 14th of March 2021.

  3. General information

​

  • Will the beers be provided?

   Unfortunately, No, but a list of craft beer to be tasted as well as an alternative beer list will be sent out by           email to all registered attendees.

  • How do I access the requirements needed to make the Bavarian Pretzels?

   A list of all the ingredients and equipment will be sent out to registered attendees via email.

  • How do I register for the event?

   To register for the event please go to the home page on our website or click on Registration on the menu bar and you will be directed to our registration page then you can register for the event.

 

  • What happens next after registration?

  A registration ticket will be sent to you via email with all the details about the event.

 

  • How do I attend the event?

  A link to the event will be provided and sent out to all registered attendees via email.

 

  • Where is the event being held?

  Bier N Brez’n is a virtual event hosted on a virtual platform eSAX. https://esax.ca/.

 

  • What kind of device works best on the platform?

  To fully enjoy and participate in the event, the virtual platform works best on a desktop or laptop using           GoogleChrome.
